Shannon received her Honours in Psychology from the University of Windsor in 1998 and her Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University in 2002. Shannon has done extensive continuing education in the areas of trauma and grief including EMDR, Grief Recovery and Neurobiofeedback Meditation/mindfulness. Shannon’s presentation will include psychoeducation on anxiety and the brain, recognizing the warning signs of anxiety and triggers that and initiate anxiety. In the second part of the workshop will include coping skills and exercises to prevent and work through anxiety in life and the workplace.
